9 Amazing teacup dogs with blue eyes
Some of them do not have blue eyes in their breed standard because it’s usually rare in that breed to see these breeds with blue eyes.
Poodles

Weight: Male: 6.8 – 7.7 kg, Female: 6.8 – 7.7 kg.
Height: Male: 24 – 28 cm, Female: 24 – 28 cm
Poodles are extremely smart and when it comes to training they are truly the best, they will ace every test.
Most people think that poodles are snobs but poodles are friendly, sweet, and caring breeds, they make great family dogs.
Their coat needs a lot of attention to stay healthy and stunning and most poodle owners take them to professional groomers for these creative haircuts that steal everyone’s heart with just a glance.
Obedience training is essential for poodles to keep their mind active because bored poodles are destructive.
If you don’t train your poodle early they are more likely to conclude that they are the alpha of the family and will do whatever they want and you will have no control.
Maltese

Weight: Male: 3 – 4 kg, Female: 3 – 4 kg
Height: Male: 21 – 25 cm, Female: 20 – 23 cm.
Maltese is an adorable dog with a high tendency to please his owner, they have a cute and sweet personality which makes them suitable for a family without any toddlers.
If they have long hair, your Maltese can get sunburned on their skin because their hair will be parted on the back so make sure to apply sunscreen on their back before going out.
Maltese can be picky eaters due to their delicate digestive system, also, gum or teeth problems may occur in the Maltese.
Whether your Maltese has long or short hair, they need to be groomed regularly to keep their coat healthy and cute.
Yorkshire terrier

Weight: Male: 3.1 kg, Female: 3.1 kg.
Height: Male: 18 – 23 cm, Female: 18 – 23 cm.
Yorkshire terriers are loving and caring companions even though they are small in size but they are big in heart.
They make great apartment pets but they tend to be yappy and that can’t be good with neighbors.
Just like other small dogs, I do not recommend getting a Yorkshire terrier in a house with toddlers.
Yorkshire terriers need to be socialized because they think they are big dogs and may try to pick a fight with a big dog.
They have delicate digestive systems so many eating problems can occur and you will need to be extremely careful with their diet and maybe you should consult their vet about the perfect diet for them.
Pomeranians

Weight: Male: 1.9 – 3.5 kg, Female: 1.9 – 3.5 kg.
Height: Male: 20 cm, Female: 20 cm.
Pomeranians are the smallest members of the Spitz family which includes Norwegian Elkhound, Samoyed, and Alaskan malamute.
They need to be trained early because they are one of the dogs that have an attitude and personality that’s bigger than their size.
They have a thick and beautiful coat that you should brush every day because Pomeranians may develop bald spots in their gorgeous coat when they get older so you will need to be careful.
Just a long daily walk will be enough for Pomeranians and whenever you go for a walk or any activity with them you should take some water for them because they can become overheated or have a heat stroke.
Beagles

Weight: Male: 10 – 11 kg, Female: 9 – 10 kg.
Height: Male: 36 – 41 cm, Female: 33 – 38 cm.
Beagles were originally bred as scent hounds to track prey by their scent and they are still used for this cause in the United States and other countries.
They are a loving, happy, and outgoing breed and make wonderful family dogs, however, because of their small size, they shouldn’t be around toddlers because beagles are delicate.
Also, teach your children to respect their pup while they are eating because they might snap. I have discussed this further in my post on how to introduce your kids to your golden retriever here. The same rules work with any dog, not just goldens.
However, beagles can vocalist sometimes so if you want to have a good night’s sleep, you will need to train early.
Just like all dogs, they need to be groomed regularly and have daily exercise.
Pomsky

Weight: Male: 9 – 13 kg, Female: 9 – 13 kg.
Height: Male: 13 – 45.7 cm, Female: 13 – 45.7 cm
Pomsky is basically a more playful, silly, and smaller husky, they like to be the center of attention and love seeing people going awww when they see them because they know how cute they are.
They are a mix between Siberian husky and pomeranian and because people don’t expect them to be needy and people get overwhelmed with their personality and because of that this adorable mixed breed end up in shelters sometimes, so please before you adopt any dog, you will need to make sure that you are 100% ready to give them attention, love, and care.
They are very trainable but they may be a little stubborn like the huskies. Also, Pomsky is highly adaptable and they don’t need large space so if you like how huskies look and you don’t have enough space I will definitely recommend getting a Pomsky.
Chihuahuas

Weight: Male: 1.5 – 3 kg, Female: 1.5 – 3 kg.
Height: Male: 15 – 23 cm, Female: 15 – 23 cm.
Chihuahuas are the world’s smallest dog but they do have a big attitude, they tend to form a close bond with a single person.
They are intelligent and they learn pretty fast and they can be easily trained just as larger dogs with the same amount of enthusiasm as them.
Even though they can be great family dogs, chihuahuas are not recommended if you are a child under the age of eight.
They can be unfriendly toward other dogs so if they are not socialized when they are young I will not recommend getting another dog or getting them as the other dog.
They need 20 to 30 minutes of daily exercise and you will have to take care of their skin and coat because chihuahuas are prone to dry skin.
You’ll need to establish ground rules for them because they can be a bit controlling if you don’t train them.
Shih Tzu

Weight: Male: 4 – 7.2 kg, Female: 4 – 7.2 kg
Height: Male: 20 – 28 cm, Female: 20 – 28 cm.
Shih Tzu is an outgoing, affectionate, and happy companion and they love to follow their owners around the house.
They are also great family dogs because they get along with everyone, kids, babies, and other dogs as long as the kids or the toddlers know how to gently play with them because they are small and delicate.
They have an appealing personality and make everyone unable to resist them, they’re highly adaptable and perfectly suited to apartments or any house.
Shih Tzu needs to be groomed regularly because their coat mats easily.
Just a 30-minute walk every day will be enough for Shih Tzu to burn all their extra energy.
They tend to snore and wheeze and have a problem with the heat because the air going into their lungs isn’t cooled. After all, they’re a short-nosed breed so during hot weather keep them indoors in a room with an air conditioner.
Bichon Frise

Weight: Male: 3 – 5 kg, Female: 3 – 5 kg.
Height: Male: 23 – 30 cm, Female: 23 – 28 cm.
The Bichon Frise is a cheerful small dog breed, they look like a toy with their fluffy coat and sparkling eyes, they can just take your breath away.
They are the most enthusiastic and playful companions, you can even raise them in an apartment and they get along with other dogs, they are also great family dogs.
They need your care and attention and do not appreciate being left alone for long hours.
Bichon Frise originated in the Mediterraneanmediterranean and they have been taken along on trade routes into other countries.
Bishon Frise also does not shed like other breeds and they are recommended for people with allergies but you should discuss that with your allergist before getting any dog.

They have the reputation for suffering from separation anxiety so if you must leave them home alone for a long time then it’s not the perfect dog for you.
